About Us As a survivor of domestic violence, Erica founded Joy & Justice in 2023 to bring joy to families in challenging situations and advocate for systemic change. After tragically losing her daughters to domestic violence in 2022, Erica is determined to prevent similar tragedies. Joy & Justice provides joyful experiences for children to bond with their safe parent, offering them a chance to simply be kids. We fund activities and events that help women and children recovering from domestic violence heal and reconnect as a family. Additionally, we educate key players in the justice system to improve protections for children and shift perceptions of domestic violence.

The proceeds from this event will go directly to funding Joy & Justice's initiatives, including birthday parties, tickets to fun events, small local trips, extra curricular activities, and more in order to promote healing for survivors of domestic violence.
