Justice for All 5K

Justice for All 5K is an inaugural event hosted by the Student Bar Association of MSU College of Law. The 5K run/walk will take place on Saturday, October 15th at 1:00 pm, starting and finishing at the MSU Auditorium in East Lansing, MI. The course will take participants through the beautiful campus of Michigan State University, showcasing the vibrant fall colors.

Registration prices are $30 for the public and $25 for MSU students with ID until October 2nd, after which the prices will increase to $35 and $30 respectively. Participants can also avail a group discount of $5 per person when registering three or more people together. Race t-shirts will be provided to participants who register by October 2nd, and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis after that date.

Packet pickup will be held on Friday, October 13th from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the lobby of the MSU Law building, and on race day starting at noon at the MSU Auditorium. Medals will be awarded to overall winners, as well as first and second place finishers in various age groups. The event aims to support community organizations such as Legal Services of South Central Michigan, Capital Area Community Services, and Greater Lansing Foodbank, which provide legal representation, housing, and other essentials to vulnerable populations in the Greater Lansing area.

The Justice for All 5K is committed to promoting inclusion, with the registration application offering the option to select non-binary gender. Discussions are ongoing to ensure winner eligibility is updated accordingly. Dogs and strollers are allowed in the race, but participants are requested to start at the back. The race will be professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation, and live results will be posted on the Run Signup page.
