Kewash Marathon

The Kewash Marathon will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026 in Washington, IA. This year marks the 12th annual Kewash Half Marathon. The event includes a marathon, half marathon, 10k, and 5k race. All races start at 8:00 AM CDT (except the 10k and 5k, which start at 8:15 AM CDT). Registration ends April 24, 2026 at 7:00 PM CDT. Each registrant will receive a short sleeve shirt (5K, 10K), long sleeve shirt (marathon, half marathon), and a medal.

Courses:

• Marathon: 26.2 miles
• Half Marathon: 13.1 miles
• 10K: 10k
• 5K: 5k

This is an out and back, fast, non-technical course. The Kewash Trail is a gradual decline and incline with some flat areas.
