Labor Day Mackinac Bridge Run
The Labor Day Mackinac Bridge Run takes place on Monday, September 7, 2026 in St. Ignace, MI. This non-competitive run is organized by the Michigan Fitness Foundation and the Governor's Council on Physical Fitness, Health, and Sports. It's the only running event held on the Mackinac Bridge, offering stunning views of Mackinac Island and the Great Lakes.
Course: Approximately 4.3 miles (not certified).
Registration includes: Technical tee shirt, finisher medal, and race bib.
To participate: Share a link to recent race results (past three years) showing a minimum pace of 15 minutes per mile or less. All participants are expected to finish the entire 4.3 miles by 8:00 am.
