Lakes Country Triathlon
The Lakes Country Triathlon is a sprint triathlon held in Baxter, MN on Sunday, August 23, 2026. It offers both Individual Triathlon and Team Relay events.
Events:
- Individual Triathlon: $64.60 (includes $4.60 fee), 8:30 AM CDT. Registration opens December 28, 2025, at 7:00 AM CST.
- Team Relay: $91.10 (includes $6.10 fee), 8:30 AM CDT. Registration opens December 28, 2025, at 7:00 AM CST.
Location: Whipple Beach - 14441 Oakwood Dr N, Baxter, MN 56425, US
Course Description: The race starts with a 1/4-mile swim in Whipple Lake, followed by a 13.6-mile bike ride through the Baxter/Brainerd Lakes area, and concludes with a 3.2-mile run.
Registration: Registration closes Thursday, August 21st, at 11:59 PM. Race-day registration is available. Orders received after Monday, August 11th, at 11:59 PM will not receive a T-shirt.
Refund Policy: Registration fees are non-refundable.
