LAKESIDE CLASSIC

This August 16th race the Lakeside Classic 10K at Burnaby Lake on a fast and flat course. Hot sun overhead, cool water beside you, and pure race-day energy from race start to finish. Expect chipped timing, a properly measured 10K course, a finisher medal worth the sweat, post-race snacks and cold drinks, and podium prizes for the top three men and women. Live results, on-course photos, and leaderboard bragging rights to challenge your friends and family. This is the perfect summer activity. Brought to you by Vancouver Is Awesome and Kamino Running Co. , this is how you own mid-summer: strong legs, sun-soaked miles, and a fast lap around the lake.

There are no refunds or deferrals allowed for 2026 unless an unforeseen weather event or disaster. Event will be hosted no matter the weather, rain, shine, and/or snow unless the City of Burnaby or Metro Vancouver Parks Announces otherwise .
