LaSport Mini Series MTB race 1

LaSport Cycling club is bringing a 3 race mini series focused on getting beginners into MTB racing! Each race will be held at 1 North Adventure Trails in Blanchard. Generally, there will be 2-3 skill categories: Beginner, Intermediate, and Elite.

Race 1 on May 9th will be a simple track going around the lake, designed to be non-technical to focus on the process and etiquette of MTB racing in a live, full throttle experience. Race 2 on June 13th will utilize one of the green loops to add a technical feel while allowing racers to concentrate on the basics. Race 3 on July 25th will feature a traditional XC style race using more of the trail systems.

This series aims to grow the local cycling community and encourage newcomers to build confidence and experience.
