The Turquoise Lake 20K offers unparalleled mountain views as you run clockwise around scenic Turquoise Lake. The first 6.5 miles of the course consists of hilly paved road. The final 5.5 miles consist of single track dirt trail. Proceeds benefit Leadville youth athletics and recreation (Children's Fishing Day, Nordic team, etc).
Schedule:
- 7:15am-8:30am: Pickup bib at Matchless Boat Ramp
- 9:00am: Race Starts
Pricing:
- Adult: $40
- 17 and under: FREE
Parking is extremely limited. We beg people to car pool. Rocky Mountain Rec charges a nominal day use fee per vehicle at Turquoise Lake ($11). Anyone that is already staying in a Rocky Mountain Rec managed campground in the area does not need to pay this fee, just be sure your hang-tag is displayed in your vehicle.
