LIGHT UP THE CORNERS 4-Mile Glow Run & 1k Twilight Trot

WHAT IS LIGHT UP THE CORNERS?

A glowing, flashing, blinking, shining, night time running party and fundraiser in one! This event is sure to Light Up The (Peachtree) Corners AND Light Up A Life! Proceeds from the event go to benefit at-risk children and families in our community who are struggling by giving them the chance to participate in life-enhancing programs and activities at the Fowler YMCA.

IT'S ALL ABOUT THE FUN!

The two events, the 4 Mile Run and 1k (6/10th of a mile) Twilight Trot, will each be a one-of-a-kind night time experience that is less about how fast you run or walk and more about much fun you have! The course will be lined with blinking lights to illuminate the way and participants will be given glow bling to light up the course as you run/walk. There will be contests for the "glowiest" men, women, boys, girls, and teams. So, strap on as much glow bling as you can find and come light up the course with your friends and family! Whether you are a fast runner, a weekend jogger, or a casual walker you are invited to be a part of this exciting LIGHT UP THE CORNERS event. Strollers welcome, but for safety purposes, must start at the back of the pack.

PACE GROUPS:

Pace groups will be set up at the starting line. Participants will be encouraged to start in the pace group that most closely matches expected average pace for the 4-mile run.

IMPORTANT!

* Race weekend registrants (Friday or Saturday registrations) will not receive a race t-shirt prior to the race, but may received one after the race on a first-come, first-serve basis.

WHAT DO RUNNERS GET

Runners and Walkers can register as individuals, or sign up as part of a team. Teams are made up of four or more runners. All runners and walkers participating in either event will receive the following:

• Performance, quick-dry T-shirt
• Race t-shirts
• Glow items to ensure you glow on the course!
• Entry to the post-race party
• Coupons for lots of free and discounted stuff at THE FORUM
• The best race experiences of your life!

NEW THIS YEAR! All finishers will receive a cool race medal

TEAM REGISTRATION

Teams of 4 - 9 members* $35 until midnight on July 31st, $40 from August 1st to midnight on August 14th and $50 on Friday August 15th and Saturday, August 16th Teams of 10 or more** $30 until midnight on July 31st $35 between August 1st and midnight on August 14th and $50 on Friday, August 15th and Saturday, August 16th * Registrants 1 through 3 on any team will pay regular price, when #4 registers at discounted price, registrants 1 through 3 will receive $5 refund back on credit card used at payment time. Each additional registrant will be able to register at discounted price. Once a team reaches 10 members, registrants 1-3 will receive an additional $5 credit, and registrants 4-9 will receive $5 credit. All credits will be returned to the original form of payment. Please allow 10 days for refund.

PRE- AND POST-RACE PARTY!

- Your registration includes admittance to a fabulous pre-race and post-race party with a live DJ, food and drink, face painting, fun games, roaming entertainment and activities courtesy of The Forum and our other generous sponsors. Prizes for the "glowiest" man, woman, girl, and boy will be awarded, so get your GLOW ON for a chance to win great prizes!
