Loveland Frogman Race

Race Info

The Loveland Frogman Race is an 11th annual event comprised of a 5 Mile Kayak, 8 Mile Bike, and a 5K Run.

Participants must pick up race packets prior to the race. Pre-Race Pickup Details are available on Friday, August 28th, with sessions from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. There is no race day packet pickup.

Wave assignments can be selected during registration. Teams can consist of two people (using a tandem kayak) or individuals (using a single kayak). The minimum age for competing on a team is 10 years old, and as an individual is 16 years old.

The race begins at 8:30 a.m. with a staggered start. The first bus of kayakers will leave at 7:45 am sharp. The race will begin and end with all transitions at Loveland Canoe & Kayak (Karl Brown Way). All participants will be bused to the start line.

Race Divisions include Team (16+), Parent/Child Team (10+), Male (16+), and Female (16+).

Event t-shirts will be available for purchase for $25 each until August 1st.

Kayaks, life jackets, and paddles will be provided. Participants must provide their own bicycle. Life jackets must be worn at all times on the water, and bike helmets must be worn at all times on the bike. No headphones are allowed during any portion of the race.

A photo ID is required, and a waiver must be signed and submitted to receive your race packet and bib/timing chip.

This is a rain or shine event with no refunds. In the event of severe weather, the start may be delayed, and the course may be altered for safety reasons.
