The Mary Lou Triathlon is located at the Deyo Reservoir outside of Weippe, Idaho. The swim will take place from the sandy beach and traverse 300 yards before transitioning to mountain bike gear and leaving the reservoir along Schmidt Mill Road to 3-mile Road to Fidler Road and then along a forested trail back to 3-mile Road and the reservoir, approximately 13 miles. The run course will be the well-travelled 2.2 mile trail around the reservoir. There will be a single transition area.

Packet pick up: Saturday, June 13, 3:00 - 5:30pm at the Schmidt House across from Deyo Reservoir; Sunday, June 14, 6:30 - 7:00am at Deyo Reservoir

Athlete briefing: Saturday, June 13, 5:00pm at Schmidt House and Sunday, June 14, 7:30am at Deyo Reservoir

Limited Parking Available. Camping available http://www.weippe.com/deyo/

Safety: No roads are closed for this race, however there will be traffic control at major intersections. It is your responsibility to yield to traffic. Most of this race is on lightly travelled gravel roads and trails and traffic is minimal in the areas where you will be sharing the road.

Rules: This is not a USA Triathlon (USAT) sanctioned event and you do not need to have a USAT card to participate, however we will be abiding by USAT rules. Wetsuits are discouraged but allowable if water temperature is less than 84 degrees. No lifejackets allowed. Helmets required for the duration of the bike ride.
