Midway Shelter Winter Run / Walk

Join us for the annual Midway Shelter winter run. Event takes place at the Harbor Bay Ferry Terminal in Alameda on Bay Farm Island and supports a great cause. The run will take you along the beautiful shoreline of Bay Farm Island and is a flat out and back with views of San Francisco and the Alameda Main Island. This year we plan to utilize the streets of Harbor Bay Parkway to account for the increase in race attendance.

The Kids run for 12 and under will be a 1/2 mile course. Kids run will start at 9:45am and will follow a circular loop out and back on the shoreline trail.

Midway Shelter provides emergency shelter to homeless women and children and is operated through a partnership with Alameda Homeless Network and Building Futures.

Packet Pick up and Race Schedule:

• December 4th and 5th, 2026: 10:00am - 5:00pm at Lauren's Closet, 1420 Park St / Alameda, Ca. 94501
• December 6th: 7:30am ~ raceday registration opens
• 8:30am ~ 10k starts
• 8:45am ~ 5k starts
• 9:45am ~ kids 1/2 mile run starts
• 10:00am ~ 5k and 10k awards
