Miller Park Zoo Stampede

The Miller Park Zoo Stampede is an exciting event taking place at the Miller Park Zoo Pavilion in Bloomington, IL. Participants can choose from three different courses: a 5K run, a 3K walk, or a Kids 1/4 Mile Fun Run.

The 5K run covers a distance of 3.1 miles and is open to all ages. The course is certified and offers a scenic route through Miller Park, the surrounding neighborhood, and even a portion of the zoo. Participants can enjoy the beautiful scenery while challenging themselves in this competitive race. The registration fee for the 5K run ranges from $35.00 to $45.00.

For those who prefer a more leisurely pace, the 3K walk is a great option. This non-timed event allows participants to enjoy the same scenic route as the 5K run, but at a more relaxed pace. The registration fee for the 3K walk is also $35.00 to $45.00.

Children aged 10 and under can participate in the Kids 1/4 Mile Fun Run. This shorter distance is perfect for young runners and provides a fun and exciting experience for them. The registration fee for the Kids Fun Run is $10.00.

Packet pickup for all participants will be held at the Miller Park Pavilion on Friday from 4 pm to 6 pm and on Saturday, the day of the race, from 8 am to 10 am. This is where participants can collect their race bibs and any other necessary materials.
