Mindy Creek Trail Races

The Mindy Creek Trail Races offer Marathon, Half-Marathon, and 10K distances, all starting and finishing at the Polk County Information Center in St. Croix Falls, WI. The courses wind through St. Croix Falls trails, featuring a mix of technical sections, rolling hills, bridges, and both gravel and paved surfaces.

Marathon

When: August 29th, 2026
Start Time: 7:00 a.m.
Course: Over 18 miles of single track, utilizing the half marathon course twice.
Aid Stations: Full aid at miles 5, 9, 13, 18, and 22. Water only at miles 8 and 21.
Cut Offs: 7 hours finish time. Must start 2nd loop at 3 hours and 15 minutes.
Entry Fees: $40 on 11/28/25, $55 on Dec 2nd, $65 on July 1st, $75 on Race Day.

Half Marathon

When: August 29th, 2025
Start Time: 7:05 a.m.
Course: Lollipop shaped course, over 9 miles of single track.
Aid Stations: Full aid at miles 5 and 9. Water-only at mile 8.
Cut Off: 5 hours finish time.
Entry Fees: $35 on 11/29/25, $50 on Dec 2nd, $60 on July 1st, $70 on Race Day.

10K

When: August 29th, 2025
Start Time: 7:10 a.m.
Course: Out-and-back with 2 miles of single track, 2 miles of paved trail, 1 mile of gravel trail, and 1 mile on grass trail.
Aid Station: Water-only at the turnaround.
Cut Off: 2 hours finish time.
Entry Fees: $25 on 11/28/25, $35 on Dec 1st, $40 on August 1st, $45 on Race Day.

• Registration closes: August 25, 2026.
• Total field limit: 150 runners.
• No refunds. Entries may not be transferred or deferred.
• Packet pickup: Race morning only.
• Aid station fare includes water, Gatorade, soda pop, cookies, gummies, chips, salted nut rolls, and pickles.
