Mineral Point Historic Gettin’ The Lead Out Run

Join us for the 42nd annual Mineral Point Historic Gettin’ The Lead Out Run! This event, hosted by the Mineral Point Chamber of Commerce, offers participants the choice of a 2-mile or 5-mile course through the beautiful historic Mineral Point. The race begins at 8:00am sharp, with registration opening at 7:00am. Walkers are welcome to participate as well!

To register, simply include your age, t-shirt size, gender, and whether you plan to participate in the 2 or 5 mile run/walk in the comment section. If you register before June 19th, you will be guaranteed a t-shirt. We will have extra shirts available on the day of the event, but we cannot guarantee availability, so please register before the deadline.

Please note that this course is extremely hilly! Water will be available at the 2 and 4 mile marks, and a hose will be available at the finish line. Restrooms are available at the park, and the swimming pool will be open after the conclusion of the event. Shirts are included in the registration fee.

The award ceremony will follow the race. First place finishers in each division will receive a commemorative mug from Brewery Pottery, while second place finishers will receive a medal.
