Newtown Turkey Trot

The 16th Annual Newtown Turkey Trot will be held on Thursday, November 27, 2025, in Newtown, CT. This community event attracts over 1600 participants and starts/finishes at Newtown Middle School (11 Queen Street, Newtown). It includes a 5K run/walk and a 2.5K fitness walk.

Events:

• 5K: 7:45AM - 9:00AM EST. Registration opens August 1, 2025, at 12:00PM EDT.
• 2.5K Walk: 7:45AM - 9:00AM EST. Registration opens August 1, 2025, at 5:00PM EDT.

Race Packet Pickup: C. H. Booth Library - Tuesday, November 25 (4:00PM-7:30PM) and Wednesday, November 26 (10:00AM-3:00PM). Additional pickup available race morning (6:30AM-7:15AM).

Entry Fees: Vary by registration date. See website for details.

Awards: Top 3 overall male, female, and non-binary; Top 3 male, female, and non-binary in each age group.
