NoCo Urban Ultra & Relay

Poudre River Trail - Fort Collins, Timnath, Windsor and Greeley

The NOCO Urban Ultra & Relay offers several race options: 50 Mile Solo, 100 Mile Solo, 50 Mile Relay (teams of 2-4), and 100 Mile Relay (teams of 2-8). This is a two-day staged race with an overnight camp for all runners.

The event celebrates the Poudre River Trail, taking participants on a tour through Fort Collins, Timnath, Windsor, and Greeley. It is designed to be suitable for both beginners and seasoned athletes, with a supported course, aid stations, and exchange zones.

The Races:

  • 50 Mile Solo and Relay: Point-to-point run from Bellvue through Fort Collins, Timnath, and Windsor to Greeley. The 50 Mile Relay has 12 legs ranging from 3-7 miles.
  • 100 Mile Solo and Relay: An out-and-back run staged over 2 days. Runners start in Greeley, travel to Bellvue, and then return. There is a mandatory overnight rest period. The 100 Mile Relay has 24 legs ranging from 3-7 miles.

  • 50 Mile (Relay): Date Range: 04/12, Time: 5:00 AM MDT - 8:45 PM MDT. Registration Opens November 10, 2025 at 1:00 PM MST.
  • 100 Mile (Individual): Date Range: 04/11 - 04/12, Time: 5:00 AM MDT - 8:45 PM MDT. Registration Opens November 10, 2025 at 1:00 PM MST.
  • 100 Mile (Relay): Date Range: 04/11 - 04/12, Time: 5:00 AM MDT - 8:45 PM MDT. Registration Opens November 10, 2025 at 1:00 PM MST.

Timelines: Final timelines for the 100 Mile Races are available in the Athlete Guide. No running is permitted on trails between 10 PM and 5 AM. The 100-mile journey is split into two days with a mandatory overnight rest.

Post Race Festivities: Enjoy food, drinks, cold plunges, and recovery areas. Belt buckles for solo ultra runners and medals for all finishers.

Collaboration: A joint event by run.Windsor and Breakaway Athletic Events.

Beneficiary: Race entries and donations support local nonprofits and the Poudre Trail Authority.
