This unique trail race starts and finishes at Drake Well Museum and Park in Titusville, PA utilizing the Gerard Hiking Trail in Oil Creek State Park. All proceeds from the event benefit Friends of Drake Well, Inc.

The 5 and 13 mile “Stacked” Trail Races offer runners an exciting twist in racing: the “Stack”. The race start times are staged or "stacked" 90 minutes apart with the 5 miler starting first. This allows the possibility of running one or both races consecutively!

  Price: $50 - $65
  Time: 7:00AM EDT - 1:30PM EDT
  Registration Opens February 2, 2026 at 6:00pm EST
• 13 miles
  Price: $60 - $75
  Time: 8:30AM EDT - 1:30PM EDT
  Registration Opens February 2, 2026 at 10:12am EST
• Stacked Race (5 + 13 miles, I'm crazy and running both races consecutively!)
  Price: $105 - $120
  Time: 7:00AM EDT - 1:30PM EDT
  Registration Opens February 2, 2026 at 3:49pm EST

Race Fees

• 5 mile Race: $50 until March 16th. Then $55 until April 13th. Final fee $65 until day of race. (Must be age 13 by race day)
• 13 mile Race: $60 until March 16th. Then $65 until April 13th. Final fee $75 until day of race. (Must be age 16 by race day)
• Stacked Race (5 + 13): $105 until March 16th. Then $110 until April 13th. Final fee $120 until day of race. (Must be age 16 by race day)

RACE T-SHIRTS ARE INCLUDED WITH REGISTRATION.

Packet Pickup/Race Day Registration and Check-In:

• 5 miler or both races: check in at 6:00-6:45 am May 17th, 2025 at the Drake Well Museum parking lot.
• 13 miler: check in between 7:00-8:15 am on Saturday May 17th, 2025 at Drake Well Museum parking lot.
• Optional pre-race packet pickup on Friday May 16th from 5-8 at the Titusville Ironworks Taphouse, 315 S. Franklin St, Titusville, PA.

Start Times:

• 5 mile race starts at 7:00 am
• 13 mile race starts at 8:30 am
• All races finished by 1:30 pm and course closes.

Awards:

• All race participants will receive a finishers award.
• Participants who complete both races within cutoff limits receive an additional unique finishers award.
• Top overall finishers (male and female) for 5 mile and 13 mile races receive additional unique awards.
• Top male and female winners of the stacked race receive a "stack" of cash - $50 each.
• 2025: Runners breaking an official standing course record receive a personalized record breaker award.
• NEW FOR 2025!! Prizes for top Masters finisher (50+, M&F) in each race.

Post race refreshments and food will be provided. 5 Hour Time Limit for each individual race. Register by April 13th, 2025 to guarantee your shirt. NO REFUNDS! Proceeds benefit Friends of Drake Well Non-profit. VETERANS and ACTIVE DUTY get a $10 discount. TEENAGERS get a youth discount of $20 for each race entry.

Course Information:

The 5-mile race starts at the Jersey Bridge (Museum side) and follows the Gerard Hiking Trail in Oil Creek State Park. The 13-mile race begins in the main parking area of Drake Well Museum, continuing through the grounds and then traveling up the dike alongside Oil Creek. Both courses eventually reconnect with the Gerard Trail and finish at the Drake Well Museum and Park parking area.
