About the Event: The Old Gabe event is a trail run inspired by the nicknames of Jim Bridger, a notable figure in the American West. This event offers a challenging course with significant climbing, suitable for training for other mountain runs. The 30K is approximately 20 miles with substantial climbing, and the 50K is closer to 34 miles with approximately 11,500' of total climb.

Course Support: Runners should plan for self-support. Aid stations will offer minimal supplies (water, gels, electrolyte, snacks) at trailheads. Drop bags are encouraged and will be transported to specific trailheads for pickup.

Rules: Stay on marked trails, do not cut switchbacks, do not litter, assist other runners, and share trails with other users.

Cut-offs: 12:00 PM at Middle Cottonwood and 3:00 PM at Sypes Trailhead for the 50K.

Parking: Please carpool and pull off FS roads as much as possible to keep them open.
