Join us for the 2nd annual Old Zoo Half Marathon! This event starts and ends at the Old Los Angeles Zoo area and features a half marathon and a 12K course. Both courses are relatively flat and lead you through scenic trails. Grab your running gear and join us! This year's commemorative animal medal will be an elephant. Join us and collect your unique finisher medal!

Given that last year's registration sold out completely, we strongly encourage you to register early to secure your spot, as space is limited.

Age Requirements

• Half Marathon: all participants must be at least 13 years old on race day
• 12K: all participants must be at least 11 years old on race day

Race Day Schedule

Registration and bib pickup is available starting at 6:15AM at the start/finish area - 4801 Griffith Park Dr. Los Angeles, CA 90027. Registration and bib pickup will be closing 10 minutes before the start of each race to allow for a prompt start!

• Half Marathon event starts at 7:15AM.
• 12K event starts at 7:45AM.
• Awards Ceremony starts at 9:00AM.

Awards

Half Marathon Overall Awards: Top M/F winners receive gift cards ($250 for 1st, $150 for 2nd, $50 for 3rd). Age Group Awards for top 3 M/F in various age brackets.

12K Overall Awards: Top M/F winners receive gift cards ($150 for 1st, $50 for 2nd) and a free entry to the 2027 event for 3rd place. Age Group Awards for top 3 M/F in various age brackets.

Team Awards: Fastest (3) Half Marathon Team, Fastest (3) 12K Team, Largest Team (Combined Events).

Winners must be present during the awards ceremony. Awards will not be given out prior to the start of the awards ceremony. Awards cannot be mailed or picked up at a later date/time.

Pricing

Half Marathon: $60 (before Jan 15), $79 (before Mar 15), $89 (before May 15), $99 (before June 13), $110 (race morning).

12K: $49 (before Jan 15), $59 (before Mar 15), $64 (before May 15), $69 (before June 13), $79 (race morning).

Packet Pickup

Available at Run With Us - Pasadena (235 N. Lake Avenue, Pasadena, CA 91101) on June 13th from 11 am to 4 pm. Also available on race morning starting at 6:30 am. Late registration available at packet pickup and on race morning.
