ORCA Learn to Run Clinic 2026

The Oceanside Running Club Association presents its annual spring Learn to Run Program. This 15-week program is designed for beginners, former runners, and those returning from injury, aiming to gradually increase endurance to 45-50 minutes of running or run/walk/run.

Participants must be 19 years of age or older.

Schedule: Thursday Nights, 6:00 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. (approx.) from January 29, 2026, through May 07, 2026.

Location: Parksville / Qualicum Beach areas.

Cost: $45.00. This includes a 2026 ORCA membership, an end-of-clinic wrap-up social event, and a non-transferable entry to the 5K portion of the 2026 Oceanside Mother's Day 10K Run & 5K Run/Walk on May 10, 2026.

Prerequisites: A pair of running shoes, determination, and the ability to continuously walk briskly for 35-45 minutes. Reflective safety gear is strongly recommended for evening sessions.

Included: 15 weekly group training sessions, optional twice weekly "homework" sessions, 2026 ORCA Club membership, non-transferable entry to the 5K portion of the 2026 Oceanside Mother's Day 10K Run & 5K Run/Walk, and a special wind-up social event.
