ORRC Best Dam Run - 10K

Race Details

The ORRC Best Dam Run - 10K is scheduled for Saturday, October 10, 2026, in Estacada, OR. This point-to-point 10K course offers beautiful views of pristine waters, forests, geology, and wildlife. Participants will be bused to the start line near North Fork Lake, and the course follows the Clackamas River to the downtown Estacada finish line.

Start Times: Walkers begin at 8:45 AM PDT, and runners start at 9:00 AM PDT. The course closes at 12:00 PM PDT.

Buses: Participants will be bussed from Estacada to the start. Check-in is at 4th and Main, with buses loading from 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM PDT.

Parking: On-street parking and lots are available in Estacada.

Packet Pick-up: Available at the square near 4th and Main from 6:30 AM to 8:30 AM PDT. No ID is required.

Drop Bags: Available at the start line and will be transported to the finish area. Bring your own bag and mark it with your bib number.

Course: The 10K course is USATF certified, starting at the east end of Faraday Road and finishing on 4th Avenue in Estacada. It includes a section on Highway 224 and follows instructions from certified flaggers.

Aid Stations: Two aid stations are located on the course, providing water and Gatorade.

Restrictions: Headphones are discouraged. Strollers, baby joggers, and dogs are not permitted.

Awards: Ceremony at approximately 10:30 AM PDT for overall winners in running and walking categories (open and masters, male, female, non-binary). Awards will not be mailed.
