About the Event
On October 19, 2024, the Palo Duro Trail Run will celebrate its 39th edition. The race offers distances of 25K, 50K, and 50 Miles, with challenging terrain and beautiful trails to explore.
The event takes place in mid-October, with varying temperatures and a looped course that allows participants to see others throughout the day.
Aid stations provide a variety of snacks and drinks, including the famous 'Date Nut Bars'. Awards are given to top finishers, and participants can enjoy post-race burgers.
No dogs are allowed in the finish line area or on the trail. Transfers are available until 10/13/2024, with no refunds or rollovers.
This year, the course direction has been reversed, and participants must carry their own hydration system as the race is cupless.
