Panther Prowl 5K

Race Information

The second annual Panther Prowl 5K will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026. The race will start and end behind McBee High School. All proceeds for this event will go to the McBee High Cross Country Team.

This Race is part of the 2026 Pee Dee Grand Prix Race Series.

Race Swag

Participants will receive a 5K shirt while supplies last. Race shirts are guaranteed to those who register by Friday, March 14.

Awards

5K AWARDS: Top 3 Males Overall, Top 3 Females Overall, Top Male & Female in following Age Groups: 13 & Under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+.

Cash prizes and medals to Top 3 Overall Male and Female winners. Medals to 1st-3rd Males and 1st-3rd Females in each age group.

The Cause

All money raised goes to the McBee High Cross Country Team to purchase new uniforms, shoes, pants, hoodies, and tents.

Race Day Schedule

• Day of Packet Pickup starts at 7:00 a.m. behind McBee High School
• Pre-race announcements/prayer: 8:50 a.m.
• 5K Race Start Time: 9:00 a.m.
• Awards at 10:00 a.m.

Packet Pick-up Procedures

Packet pick-up will take place Friday, March 21, from 5:00 p.m.—7:00 p.m., at the Front Office entrance of McBee High School (under the awning) 264 E. Pine Ave. McBee, S.C. 29101. Pick-up also available Saturday morning from 7:00 a.m.—8:45 a.m. behind the High School.

• Strollers are welcome
• You can listen to music while you run
• There are no age restrictions for this race
• NO PETS ALLOWED

Parking

Runners/spectators can park in front of McBee High School, beside the Gym, or in the Student Parking Lot behind the school.
