We're excited to announce that Race 3 of the Parramatta Race Series will take place on Sunday, 1 November 2026, at our temporary location in Silverwater Park. Taking in the beautiful surroundings of the Newington Armory along the Parramatta River between Silverwater Park and the Newington Nature Reserve, choose from a Half Marathon, 10 km, 5 km, or 2 km distance. All courses are flat and run adjacent to the Parramatta River – making it the perfect course for a personal best or marking the first race for beginners. All event finishers will receive a new 2026 Parramatta Race themed medal, post-race snack, sponsor giveaways, and a finisher certificate.

Join the Race Day Fun – No Running Required! We're always looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help bring race day to life! Whether you're high-fiving participants on the course or sending smiles and good vibes from the registration desk, you'll be right in the heart of the action – no running shoes necessary. Volunteering is a fantastic way to soak up the electric atmosphere, support the athletes, and be part of something special. Refund, Transfers and Cancellations

Transfers
1.1. It is possible to transfer your entry to a friend or family member up to 3 days before the event date. Please use the ‘Name or Distance Transfer’ link on Race Roster or get in touch with [email protected] with your name and ‘Bib Transfer’ in the subject line.
1.2. It is possible for a participant to change event distances up to 3 days before the event date. No refunds for a downgrade in course distance will be made. Course upgrades will incur the difference in entry fee. Please get in touch with [email protected] with your name and ‘Event Transfer’ in the subject line.
1.3. A transfer between participants or a new event will cost a $15 administration fee.
1.4 Participant transfers are not available on the day of the event; you will be able to transfer to a shorter distance if required on event morning.

Refunds
2.1. For all events, entry fees are fully refundable (less a $15 admin fee) up to 8 weeks before the event. 75% refundable between 6-8 weeks before the event, 50% up to 4-6 weeks before the event, 25% between 2-4 weeks. No refunds will be given less than 2 weeks before the event. No refunds will be provided for merchandise purchases.
2.2. No refunds will be given within 14 days of the event start date under any circumstances.
2.3. If a participant can no longer attend the second race of a race series and requests a refund, the value of the complimentary t-shirt ($30) and a $15 administration fee will be deducted from any refundable amount. If the participant prefers to transfer their second-race entry to a future event as race credit, only the $15 administration fee will apply. No t-shirt charge will be deducted when opting for a race credit.

Postponements / Cancellations
3.1. If the event has to be postponed or cancelled due to weather conditions, natural disaster, acts of god, terrorism, or any other reason so deemed by Race Hub Australia, all efforts will be made to reschedule the event. All entries will be automatically transferred over to the new date. If the event is rescheduled and you are unable to make the new date, no refunds will be given. You will have the option to transfer your entry to the following year’s event.
3.2. Where an event can not be rescheduled, committed contractors will be paid, and remaining funds will be offered as partial refunds or donated to charity. Where an event is not fully cancelled or rescheduled, and the participant chooses not to race, they will not be entitled to a refund.
3.3. You will be notified of any postponements or cancellations by email, social media, and announcements will be made on the home page of this site. Please note that the event will not be postponed or cancelled due to rain. Race organisers will review the site conditions if required in the days before the event.
