Welcome to the 13th annual Patapsco Valley 50k AND the 5th running of the Patapsco Valley 25k! We are excited to have our race headquarters back at CCBC-Catonsville!

ALL runners, including virtual runners, will receive a high-quality Brooks event shirt, an additional PV50K/25K logo premium item (knit hat, socks, gloves, buffs are examples of previous premiums we have offered), a scenic and historic well-marked trail course, 5 well-stocked aid stations run by some of the best volunteers in ultra-running, post-race food and drink, and a one-of-a-kind finishers award: PV50K finishers receive our famous, unique and coveted hand-thrown mug. 25K finishers can expect an amazing finishers medal when you cross the line. Runners will be going CLOCKWISE on the course in 2026!

Weather Backup Date: Sunday, October 25th, 2026. Any runners unable to run on the backup date or if the event is canceled in totality will be placed in the virtual run category. We do not offer deferrals.

Refund Policy: Runners who request a refund of race registration costs before September 24th, 2026 will receive your registration fee minus $30. Requests for cancellation/refund on or after September 24th, 2026 will not receive any portion of their registration fees refunded. UltraSignup fees, taxes, and other charges are non-refundable.

Virtual Race Details: Runners will have from October 24th-November 24th, 2026 to run 50k or 25k on their own chosen course. Anywhere, anytime. Runners will submit their results to the race directors upon completion via the UltraSignup website. Your shirt, finishers award, and other swag will be mailed to you at no additional cost.

Start Time & Cutoff

• Race Start: 50k: 7:30a, 25k: 8:30a
• Race Close: 5:30p (10 hour limit)
• Cutoff (50k only): Runners who do not finish their 1st loop by 12:15pm will be asked to discontinue their run.
