Peavine Peak Hill Climb
Welcome to the 3rd annual Peavine Peak Hill Climb! Get ready to run to the top of Reno's skyline and back down with all your friends.
Course Details
- Total mileage: 9.4 miles
- Total Elevation Gain: 3,018 ft
- Start: Melton Elementary School
- Ascent: Chalk Canyon singletrack, then a steep ascent up a rocky ATV trail on Tower Ridge to the summit of Peavine Peak.
- Descent: 2.4 miles on the smooth dirt of Peavine Road, then back down Chalk Canyon to the Elementary School.
Race Day Schedule
- Saturday, October 17th
- 6:30 am: packet pickup opens
- 8:00 am: race start
- 9:15 am: first finishers expected
- 12:00 pm: cutoff back at Melton Elementary School
