Pictured Rocks Road Race 2026

Race Info

The 51st Annual Pictured Rocks Road Race will be held Sunday June 28th, 2026 in the picturesque town of Munising, Michigan, the gateway to the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. The race features a 1/2 marathon and 10k route that travels along a combination of paved roads and two-track trails. There is about 3 miles of dirt on the half marathon route. The race starts and ends in the heart of Munising at Bayshore Park on the southern shores of Lake Superior. All participants receive a long sleeve shirt and all finishers receive a medal!

Update

Packet pickup will held at the parking lot of Peoples State Bank (corner of Superior St. and Elm St.) from 3-6pm Saturday June 27th. Packet pickup will also be available on race day June 28th (Sunday morning) starting at 7:00 am up to 30 minutes before race start at Bayshore Park (this is the Start/Finish Line location). No refunds will be given. When registering after 6/1 (deadline for receiving a t-shirt), you will not be able to select a shirt size. You will however be able to pick what size socks you will receive in place of the t-shirt (choices will be SM/MED or LG/XL).
