We are raising funds for an initiative that will set our students on a path to succeed by boosting their reading abilities during their crucial 2nd grade year. Having more help in the classroom, means more time for teachers to focus on student needs, ensuring better outcomes for all students. That's why we’re raising money to hire a part-time teaching assistant for a 2nd grade class at Pisgah. This additional educator will finally allow for effective small group reading lessons tailored to each student's level. Those struggling will get intensive support while on-level students keep progressing. The benefits extend beyond academics. Teacher burnout will decrease with an extra set of hands. And students will thrive with more personalized attention.
Race Shirt: Included with registration before April 19, 2025 (while supplies last).
Awards: Top 3 overall male and female finishers receive a medal and cash award ($100, $50, $25). Top 3 in each age group receive a medal.
Schedule:

• Friday, May 1: 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM: Packet pickup & registration
• Saturday, May 2: 8:00 AM - 8:45 AM: Packet pickup & registration
  9:00 AM: Race start
  10:00 AM (approx.): Awards ceremony
