Beginning in 2009 after the passing of our namesake, Polly, our goal at Polly’s Run has been to raise awareness of this terrible disease and money for research to defeat it. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Our Fight Since 2009: $573,000 total raised for research, $135,000 funds raised by participants, 7,550 participants, 64 pancreatic cancer survivor participants.

Polly’s Run, a non-profit road race, is an annual 5K Run/Walk and Kids’ K road race honoring Polly Rogers and all the loved ones we have lost to pancreatic cancer. The 5K will take place at 8:30am and the Kids K at 9:30am on May 31, 2025. The 5K race begins on 18th Street outside of Explora, and the Kids K starts at 18th Street and Mountain. The purpose of the race is to raise awareness and funds for pancreatic cancer research. The proceeds from this event will support pancreatic research by donating 100% of the profits to the UNM Comprehensive Cancer Center.
