2026 marks the return of the Popoi'a Swim race! This iconic 1.5-mile swim around Popoia Island (Flat Island), located off Kailua Beach on the windward side of Oʻahu, offers a beautiful blend of scenic swimming and open-water adventure. If you’re looking for a shorter option, the 0.5-mile buoy swim is a great choice for those who prefer a more relaxed distance while still enjoying the fun and energy of race day. Hosted by the Kailua Masters Swim Club, this community event is a chance to connect with fellow swimmers who share your love of activity and the ocean. We’re thrilled to bring this beloved event back after a six-year hiatus and can’t wait to see you at the starting line!
