The Powisset (pronounced “po-wiss-it”) Farm Trail Run is part of the Barn to Run Trail Race Series and the fall edition of this event takes place Sunday, October 26, 2025 at Powisset Farm in Dover, MA. The event includes running the trails of Powisset Farm and neighboring Noanet Woodlands and offers 4 race distances to choose from — 8.3, 5.6, 3.1 and 1.5 miles. This is a popular event with experienced and novice trail runners alike. Come for the race... stay for the cider donuts! Post-race cider donuts are a staple of the fall races in the Barn to Run series. Bring the kids to see the animals, free pumpkin painting and to see all the farm has to offer!

SWAG and Cider Donuts - Runners in the 8.3, 5.6 or 3.1 mile races that register by Friday, 10/11/26 are guaranteed a soft cotton, gender specific t-shirt. Runners that register after that date will receive other Barn to Run swag. Runners in the 1.5 mile race will receive other Barn to Run swag. All runners also receive post-race food & drink and a chance to win sponsor giveaways.

Aid Stations - There will be 1 aid station set up in Noanet Woods offering water. THIS IS A CUPLESS RACE ... you must have your own hydration carrier. A limited number of speedcup and hydration belts will be available for sale at the event for those that need a hydration carrier on a race day.

Event Schedule

Sunday, 10/25/26: RACE DAY! (at Powisset Farm, 37 Powisset St, Dover, MA)

• 7:00am: Packet pick-up/registration begins at Powisset Farm
• 8:00am: Start of the 1.5 mile race
• 8:30am (est): Start of the 5.6 and 8.3 mile races (this race is started once all runners in the 1.5 mile race are finished)
• 9:00am (est): Start of the 3.1 mile race (this race is started once all runners in the 5.6 and 8.3 mile races leave the Meadow Loop and cross into Noanet Woodlands)
• 10:00am (est): Awards ceremony for the 3.1 mile race
• 10:30am (est): Awards ceremony for the 5.6 & 8.3 mile races

Fun for the Family - Each Barn to Run race includes attractions and activities to keep the kids entertained while mom or dad is participating in the event (children must still be accompanied by an adult at all times). Powisset Farm has a barn yard with pigs, chickens and goat, a small play area and kids under 15 will be given a free pumpkin to paint (first 25 kids).
