About the Event

Prostate Cancer Awareness 5K Walk/Run/Bike

This is the 9th annual 5K walk, race, bike event sponsored by the Prince Hall Masons in the State of Illinois to bring awareness to and support for Prostate cancer, screenings, early detection, treatment options, and on-going research.

The race is held at 4 locations simultaneously: Chicago, Aurora, East St. Louis, and Springfield, IL.

The race is open to anyone interested in participating in the conversation of Prostate Cancer Awareness or who want to support those affected by Prostate Cancer. Race/Walk/Bike participants must be 12 years and older. A waiver must be signed.

All proceeds raised are donated towards Prostate Cancer awareness and research and assist with free screenings.

  • Location #3: Dreamland Park, 2300 Taylor Ave, Springfield, IL
