Race #1 Kuitpo Forest

Find yourself amongst the trees of the forest. Travel through the ancient lands of the Kaurna and Peramangk peoples in Kuitpo Forest, near Meadows in the Mount Lofty Ranges. You’ll run through an amazing mix of scenic pine plantations and native bush and enjoy wide forestry roads mixed with some single tracks.

Distances and maps:

• Long – 24 km
• Medium – 18 km
• Short – 11 km
• Kids X-country - 1km

Course cut-offs and closures: All runners/walkers must cross the finish line by 11:30 am or receive a "did not finish" (DNF). The following paces apply: 24 km runners: 9.53 mins/km, 18 km runners: 11.33 mins/km, 11 km runners: 15.53 mins/km. Walkers are welcome in the 11km event only.

The perks: Enjoy free fruit, nibbles, chocolate brownies, sponsor tents, quick massages, and a member-only random draw.

UTMB® Index and ITRA events: The long course 24 km event is a UTMB® Index race and ITRA National Challenge event. The courses do not attract ITRA points.

Drink station information: Water and lollies will be at all drink stations. You must bring your own drinking container.

Free kids' cross country run: Sign up your youngster for our short cross-country run (1-1.5 km) on the day at the registration tent. Approximately 10:30-11:00 am.

Discounts and late entries: Members receive a super early bird discount. Kids U15 are charged at 50% of standard entry fees. Late entries are not accepted; must enter by 5:00 pm on the Thursday before the event.

Prizes and random draw: Placegetters receive a medal. Member-only random draw at approximately 11:00 am.

Event parking: Carpooling is encouraged. Detailed parking instructions will be provided in your race briefing.
