Race to the Tower Trail Run

Location: Palisades Park, Oneonta, AL

Distances: 15K, 10K, 5K

Registration closes on May 13, 2025 at 11:59 PM CT. No race day registration is available.

Course Description

The course consists of half park road and half improved trail, with a mix of scenic views and challenging terrain. Participants can run the 5K, 10K, or 15K, and those who choose to climb the tower will receive a finisher's medal at the top.

Awards

Awards will be given to the first three males and females in each division.

Registration Fees

• 15K: $49.25
• 10K: $49.25
• 5K: $49.25

All prices include taxes and fees. Registration opens in January 2025.

Post-Race Activities

After the race, explore local attractions including the Covered Bridges and the Locust Fork River, or enjoy local dining options.

Logistics

• Packet Pickup:
  • Early pickup on Sunday before the race at 5:30 PM.
  • On race day starting at 6:00 AM, ending promptly at 7:00 AM.
• Parking: Please park in the big parking lot and walk to the pavilion to sign in.
• Cutoff Time: There is a 3-hour cutoff for all races.

Important Note

A waiver must be signed to climb the tower, but climbing is not required for an official finish time.
