Rainier to Ruston

Race Info

The Rainier to Ruston is a relay race where teams of 2, 3, 4, or 6 runners compete. The event starts near Mount Rainier and finishes on the waterfront of Tacoma. Participants can enjoy a craft beer garden and finish line food. The race is USATF sanctioned.

NEW START: Carbonado

The race start is on AP Tubbs Road East. Take Highway 165 towards Carbonado. Turn right on Wilkeson Carbonado Road E. Just after passing the cemetery, turn right on AP Tubbs Road E. The race start is 1/4 mile on the right.

Team Registration

Teams of 2, 3, 4, or 6 runners will compete. Registration includes a craft beer garden and finish line food.

FAQ & Relay Rules

• No vehicles 80" or wider or longer than 20'.
• No motor homes, buses, or limos are allowed on the course by any team or team support.
• ABSOLUTELY ZERO TOLERANCE OF CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOL OR DRUGS ON THE COURSE.
• ABSOLUTELY ZERO TOLERANCE OF CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOL OUTSIDE OUR BEER GARDEN AT THE FINISH.
