Join us Labor Day weekend 2026 for an incredible sprint triathlon. Includes a 1/4 mile swim in the crystal clear waters of Rattlensnake Lake with fresh snow melt off the Cascades Mountains from the Cedar watershed. A mixed road/trail course (3 mile/7 mile) up the Palouse to Cascade Mountain bike trail (regular road bike is Okay) on this limestone/hard packed dirt trail. You top off your day with a 4 mile trail run on 3 mile of asphalt bike path and 1 mile of hard packed limestone/dirt path of the scenic Rattlesnake and Cascades Park. Don't miss this hidden gem of the Pacific Northwest. The event fills up fast and has a cap. Good Luck!

Event details and schedule

There is plenty of free parking at Rattlesnake Lake SPU (Seattle Public Utilities) lot. If you park at the Washington State Trail lot you will have to display a Discover Pass ($15/day or $45/yr) https://discoverpass.wa.gov/. Optional packet pick up Saturday Sept 5, 2026, 4- 5:30 pm at race site. Mandatory Safety briefing Thursday Sept 3, 2026, 5 pm. It is recorded so if you miss it you can watch the recording. Also will include rules and regulations for the USAT sanctioned race.
