REACH Foundation 14th Annual Shamrock 'n Run 5K/2K

"Run for a cause. Run for our Kids!"

Location: Yorba Regional Park, Anaheim, CA

Time: 7:00 am - 11:00 am

A beloved community tradition, the Shamrock ’n Run welcomes about 2,000 participants each year. This energetic event brings together families, educators, district leaders, and community partners to celebrate health, connection, and school pride. Attendees can also explore the Community EXPO, featuring over 40 vendors and sponsors showcasing local businesses and resources. Every dollar raised directly supports PYLUSD student programs and events!

5K & 2K Fun Run or Walk

These professionally timed events give participants the chance to see how their performance stacks up against peers in their age group. Schools compete for the coveted perpetual trophy.

Food and Drink

• Free pancake breakfast for all 5K/2K registrants (from 7 am to 10 am) sponsored by Kiwanis Club of Placentia
• Italian Ice by You Had Me at Cool
• Refreshing water by Yorba Linda Water District

What's Happening in 2026?

Create teams of 5 to 10 members to represent your company, office department, sports team, or class. Both the 5k and 2k will be timed. Schools earning the most points from the races will be awarded the highly coveted Shamrock Championship Perpetual Trophies and bragging rights for the winning Elementary School, Middle School, and High School!

Date: Saturday, March 14th, 8 am - 11 am

Location: Fairmont Elementary School, 5241 Fairmont Blvd., Yorba Linda

Courses

• 5K Course: Scenic cross-country course starting and finishing in the outfield grass area adjacent to the Anaheim Ball Fields. Relatively flat, winding through tall pine trees, picturesque ponds, and along the Santa Ana River trail.
• 2K Course: Scenic cross-country course starting and finishing in the outfield grass area adjacent to the Anaheim Ball Fields. Winding through beautiful ponds and scenic views of Yorba Regional Park.

Note: Dogs are welcome on a leash (max 6 feet) for the 5K or 2K, provided they are well-socialized and participants clean up after them.
