About Our Event

The Regal Beagle Ultra is a 50k, 25k, and 5 mile course that highlights the best of the 404 acre Bath Nature Preserve and the 41 acre Bath Community Park. This loop course starts at the Bath *Nature Preserve* (updated) and traverses wetlands, woodlands, and rolling hills. Terrain will be a mix of paved and gravel roads, and dirt and grass trails. The 50k will be six 5-ish mile loops and the 25k will be three 5-ish mile loops with 2 aid stations per loop. A portion of the proceeds from this year's race will benefit the Bath Nature Preserve and the University of Akron Field Station. *Course limit 8 hours. There will be no early starts. No pacers for the 50k (or any other distance), it's only 31 miles! COURSE elevation for those interested- about 400’ of gain per loop. 50k runners must start the last loop by 2:30pm.

Start Line and giving

This year the race will start and finish at the Regal Beagle, 4240 Ira Rd. Please follow the signs to the University of Akron Field Station for race day and packet pickup parking. We have more parking this location!! A portion of the proceeds will go towards helping fund capital improvements at the nature preserve and programming at the field station. We are excited to partner with Bath Parks again, as there are more exciting changes on the horizon!

Packet Pickup

Packet Pickup (note corrected date):Saturday, November 22 at the Regal Beagle from 3-5pm. 4240 Ira Rd., Akron OH 44333 (follow the signs to the University of Akron Field Station. Regal Beagle Lodge is directly across from the field station and you can park there). *There will be limited race day packet pickup for our out of town guests from 7:00-7:45 am at the start/finish area.
