Event Details
The Rush-Henrietta Kicking Hunger 5K Run / Walk is an annual event aimed at raising awareness and providing solutions to hunger in the community. It also promotes exercise and family-centered activities.
Participants have two options: a live event on Saturday, June 6th, 2026, or a virtual event from Friday, June 5th to Sunday, June 7th, 2026.
Since 2018, the race has raised over $53,000 and collected hundreds of non-perishable food items, directly impacting local programs like the RHCSD Kicking Hunger Summer Food Program and BackPack Program, as well as supporting community food initiatives and the Rush-Henrietta School Food Pantry.
Pricing
$20 (Under 17), $25 (All other participants) until May 29th, 2026 / $30 (All participants) after May 29th, 2026.
Limited t-shirts will be available for registrations after May 20th.
Packet Pickup
Friday, June 5th, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Henrietta Recreation Center on Calkins Road.
Race Start Times
In-person: Saturday, June 6th, 2026, at 8:00 AM EDT.
Virtual: Available from Friday, June 5th to Sunday, June 7th, 2026.
