Ridge to Blazing Ridge Trail Race

Race 5 of the Southeastern Trail Series, Ridge to Blazing Ridge, will start at the Redbud Pavilion next to the BMX Track. The race will start at 7:00 AM. View the course map and download the GPX file on the Southeastern Trail Runs website. The course is difficult and it will be hot. This race is a little harder than the previous two races and it will probably be very hot. There are two aid station on the mountain at mile 3.75 and a water only stop at mile 7.5. Runners MUST carry water at all times during the race. NO EXCEPTIONS!! For best results, we suggest drinking Tailwind in the place of water. We supply Tailwind at both aid station along with plenty of water.

Important Notes:

• YOU MUST CARRY WATER: At least 15 to 20oz of water or Tailwind or similar at the start.
• Race Shirts: All Runners registered by July 26th Will Receive Race Shirts.
• Student Discounts: 50% discount for students with code "Student-2025".

Schedule

Friday, August 22nd

• 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM: Packet Pickup at Mountain High Outfitters store (2000 Oak Mountain Park Rd, Pelham, AL 35124). Late registration available.

Saturday, August 23rd

• 5:45 AM - 6:50 AM: Packet Pickup at the Redbud Pavilion by the BMX Track on Tranquility Road, Oak Mountain State Park. Late registration available.
• 7:00 AM: Both races start at the Redbud Pavilion.

Oak Mountain State Park charges $5 per person to enter the park.
