Rise & Run 5K

Friend to Friend proudly presents our 10th annual 5K! Start your weekend on a high note at the Rise & Run 5K. Race, walk, or jog your way through a scenic trail course with natural terrain that keeps things fun and adventurous. Then celebrate with live music, great food trucks, and a packed kids corner. Little runners can join the excitement in the 1-mile fun run for ages 10 & under. Bring the energy, bring your friends, and rise with us for a morning that feels good and does good. All proceeds support Friend to Friend and their work empowering survivors in our community. Registrations on or before 4/1 will be guaranteed a t-shirt. All registrations after that date will receive a shirt if available.

Packet/Swag Bag Pick Up: Thursday 4/24 at the Southern Pines Brewing Company (565 Air Tool Dr.) from 5:00 - 8:00 pm. Race day pick up and registration available from 1:00 - 5:30pm.

About Friend to Friend: Friend to Friend is a nonprofit agency located in Carthage, North Carolina. Our mission is to help survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking rebuild their lives. Some of the services we provide include an emergency shelter for women & children, 24/7 crisis line, court advocacy, hospital accompaniment for adult survivors of sexual assault, support groups, and community education. All of our services are free of charge. Our Advocacy Office is located at 101 Monroe St. (Suite A) Carthage, NC 28327.
