Rivertown Races

Rivertown Races - April 17-18, 2026

Celebrating its 15th year, Rivertown Races offers a family-friendly 1/2 Marathon, 10k, & 5k, with a kids event the evening before. These events are suitable for all levels, from first-timers to elites.

The races start and finish at the beautiful Meadows of Millennium Park in Walker, MI, southwest of Grand Rapids. Runners will experience roads, paved trails, and bridges amidst rolling terrain, wetlands, and lakes. Food, beverages, music, and family fun will be available.

This year, Rivertown Races is presented by Striders, supporting the mission of Bridge Street Ministries to empower local youth.

Registration Deadlines: Register by April 1st to guarantee your shirt size.

• April 17 (Friday): Millennium Park (5 PM - 5:45 PM) - For Rivertown Kids
• April 17 (Saturday): Millennium Park (6:00 AM - 7:15 AM) - Race Day

• April 18 (Saturday), Millennium Park: Half Marathon - 7:55 AM
• April 18 (Saturday), Millennium Park: 5K & 10K - 8:25 AM

Rivertown Kids 1 Mile Fun Run: An untimed, competitive run designed for kids aged 10 and under, offering a positive introduction to running. Each participant receives a shirt, medal, and bib. Parents/siblings can run along.

Course Maps: Available for 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon, featuring aid stations and U of M Health - West Sports Medicine support.

Charity: 100% of registration donations go to Bridge Street Ministries for a new youth center building project.
