Join us for a commemorative Run/Walk 5K celebrating the enduring legacy of SHOE SHOW, INC.'s founder, Robert Tucker, and his unwavering passion for running! During his time at A.L. Brown High School in the late 1950s, Robert Tucker discovered his love for running, excelling in track events such as the 440 and mile relays. His devotion to running spanned over 30 years, with an 18-year stretch of never missing a day, which served as a source of solace and strength as he faced the challenges of Parkinson’s Disease and Colon Cancer in his later life. In tribute to his remarkable journey, we proudly present the Robert Tucker Run 5K, a heartfelt homage to his enduring spirit and commitment to philanthropy. Proceeds from the 5K will be dedicated to supporting The Community Free Clinic, a vital healthcare resource in Concord. As the sole provider of medical services and prescription medications for low-income, uninsured adults in Cabarrus County, The Community Free Clinic plays a crucial role in improving health outcomes and fostering well-being within our community. Join us as we honor Robert Tucker's legacy and contribute to this noble cause.
