Event Description

Join Us for the 2026 Run Drugs Out of Town! We’re excited to announce that the 2026 Run Drugs Out of Town will take place on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Macomb Community College, Center Campus. This annual event is more than just a 5K run or walk—it’s a powerful movement of hope, unity, and recovery. Together, we stand with individuals and families impacted by substance use disorder, break the stigma surrounding addiction, and strengthen our community through compassion and connection. Gather your friends, family, and colleagues to form a team, run or walk in honor of someone you love, and help us raise awareness for recovery. Every step you take makes a difference!

Registration Includes:

• Entry to the 5K run/walk
• 2026 Run Drugs Out of Town T-Shirt (First Come, First Serve)
• 2026 Finisher's Medal
• Commemorative Race Bib with chip timing
• Access to the post-race picnic featuring food, snacks, and drinks

Packet Pick-Up:

Pick up your packet at the FAN Office (43800 Garfield Rd., Clinton Twp., MI 48038) on: Monday, June 22 Tuesday, June 23 Wednesday, June 24 1 PM - 7 PM each day OR Stop by the registration tent on race day starting at 8:00 AM to grab your packet before the run!

Teams

Each year, teams form to honor loved ones lost to addiction, celebrate those in recovery, and support those who are still fighting. Here’s how to create or join a team: Create a Team : The first person to register will create the team and become the Team Captain. They’ll choose a team name during registration. Register as Team Captain: After creating the team, the captain completes their own registration. Invite Others to Join: Once the team is created, the captain can share the team name so friends, family, and co-workers can register under it. Note: Each team member registers and pays individually—team captains do not need to sign everyone up.

Team Banners

Every year, FAN hangs your team banners at the event to honor those you love. If you have recieved a banner in the past and wish to have it hung, please contact [email protected]. If you have never recieved a banner or if this is your first year having a team, please reach out to [email protected] so that we can get one created for you.

Make it Count

Use your team to raise awareness and funds to help support the mission of FAN! During the ceremony, awards will be given to the largest team and the team that raised the most funds. Let's run for recovery - together!

Race-Day Agenda

• 8:30 AM – Walk-Up Registration Opens
• 9:15 AM – Ceremony Begins
• 9:45 AM – Roads Close
• 10:00 AM – Race Starts
• 11:30 AM (estimated) – Medal Ceremony / After Run Picnic

Roads will reopen after the walk/run concludes.

Please Note: All Registrations Are Non-Refundable

Due to the nature of event planning and preparation, all registration fees for Run Drugs Out of Town are non-refundable. This includes instances of personal scheduling conflicts, weather conditions, or inability to attend. Thank you for understanding and for supporting our mission.
