Join us to run for those who are running the road to recovery from alcoholism and addiction. The Run for Recovery 5K supports the 24th Street Clubhouse - the heart of recovery in the Athens area. More than 30 12-step groups meet here each week. By entering our race, you will ensure that this safe space remains available to those who need support. Donations are also gladly accepted. Awards for age groups, snacks and hydration will be available.

The course starts and finishes at the 24th Street Clubhouse. The run/walk takes place along Collins Industrial Blvd and Calhoun Drive. Please run/walk in the RIGHT lane at all times.
T-shirts are available and will be guaranteed until 5/1/26. After that date, shirts will be available while supplies last. A No-Shirt option is available. $8.00 will be discounted to your total on the Payment Page
Overall awards are given to Overall Male / Female, Masters Male/Female. Age Group awards will be available to Male and Female 10-year age groups 10 and Under 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 and Over.
The 24th Street Club House Run for Recovery 5K is proud to be a member of the Black Bag Race Series. Finish line management and timing provided by Classic Race Services.
We get wet! Race start time may be delayed in 15-minute increments if storms are in the area. Sorry, no refunds due to inclement weather.
