Run for the Glasses

Event Details

Join us on Saturday, June 6, 2026, for the Run for the Glasses, featuring a Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, and Dog Jog races. This event is the first in the Valley Running Club Festival of Races and benefits Hazleton Area's Community Services for Sight.

Courses

• Honey Hole Half Marathon (13.1M): Starts at 7:00 AM EDT.
• 5K Run/Walk (3.1M): Starts at 7:30 AM EDT.
• 10K Run (6.2M): Starts at 7:30 AM EDT.
• Dog Jog 5K (3.1M): Starts at 7:30 AM EDT.

All courses are out and back on the scenic Honey Hole Road, starting and finishing at the Honey Hole Winery. Water stations are available at turnaround points and for the Half Marathon course.

Virtual Race Option

A virtual option is available for all distances (13.1M, 10K, 5K, 5K Dog Jog, Youth 1 Mile) for those unable to attend on race day. Participate on your own course between Saturday, June 8th, and Sunday, June 9th, 2026, and submit your time electronically.

Registration & Packet Pickup

Packet pickup will be held at the Honey Hole Winery on Thursday & Friday before race day from noon to 6 PM, and on race day starting at 6:00 AM. Same-day registration is available online with a $5 fee increase. Shirt sizes are guaranteed for registrations by May 19th.

Awards

Awards for the 5K & 10K races begin at 8:30 AM. Half Marathon overall winners will be awarded at 8:45 AM, with age group awards as a rolling ceremony. Dog Jog 5K will award the top 3 finishers, and all dogs receive a special treat.
