Run the 'Burg 5K

The Harrisburg YMCA, Harrisburg Parks & Recreation and the Harrisburg Rotary are partnering to present the 19th Annual Run the 'Burg 5K. The New Harrisburg YMCA is open in Harrisburg Park, which means we will have a new route for all! Our goal is to promote recreation and local business in Harrisburg. Please arrive 15 minutes before your start time.

SATURDAY, APRIL 25, 2026

• 8am: 5K Start Time
• 9am: Fun Run Start Time
• 9:30am: Awards Presentation

Health Fair/Healthy Kids Day 8-10:30 am Course at Harrisburg Park.

Packet Pick-Up: Friday, April 24 5am-7pm Saturday, April 25 6am-7:45am

Race Day Registration: Registration will begin at 6am on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at Harrisburg Park.

AWARDS

Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 male and top 3 female Overall 5K runners, and Top 3 Male/Female awards for the following age groups: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34,35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70+.

WHERE DO THE FUNDS GO?

Event funs support the Harrisburg YMCA's Open Doors program, providing financial assistance so all people have access to Y programs, and to the Rotary Club of Harrisburg.
