Description: This is the 12th anniversary of the Bear Festival and our 5K race! It will be a celebration of the 250th anniversary of our Nation's Independence!!! The "Run With The Bears 5K" will be a tour of the historical, river, and downtown districts of the Washington County seat of Plymouth, NC. Runners can expect a relatively flat, road race with a short section along a nature trail with some uneven terrain and gravel. This race is a fund-raiser for the Washington County Historical Society.

Start Time: 7:30 AM EDT

End Time: 9:00 AM EDT

Course Details: The course is a 5K run through historical, river, and downtown districts. It features a relatively flat road race with a short section of nature trail with uneven terrain and gravel. There will be 1 water station near the 2-mile mark.

Registration & Fees:

• Online registration by May 29, 2025, 5:00 PM EDT: $35 (includes race t-shirt)
• Race day registration: $38 (shirts not guaranteed)

Packet Pickup: Morning of the race from 6:30 AM - 7:25 AM.

Awards: Finisher Medals for the first 218 finishers. Awards for 1st, 2nd, 3rd overall male and female, and age group winners.
