Run With The Turkeys Trot

Race Info

Start Thanksgiving off on the right turkey leg and join us for the 6th Annual Run With The Turkeys Trot 5K & 10K walk/run. This event is designed for the whole family and aims to help others in the community by collecting non-perishable food items for Community Storehouse. Bring strollers and friendly dogs on a leash are welcome.

Virtual Option

Can't make it in person? Participate virtually by completing the 5K or 10K at your own pace and time. Submit your results online and share pictures on the DAR Facebook LIVE page. Virtual runners receive a long-sleeve race shirt, finisher's medal, and race bib.

Awards

Awards will be given THREE DEEP per age group, with individual awards for overall male, overall female, overall masters (female & male), and overall grand masters (female & male). Age groups include 14 & under up to 80 & over.

Please pick up your packet early to avoid race morning rush. Maximum 5 packets per person for pick up.

Race Day Schedule (Thursday, November 26, 2026)

• 6:00am-7:30am: Packet pick up
• 7:30am: Packet pick up closes
• 8:00am: 10k start!
• 8:01am: Post race party with pancakes
• 8:10am: Timed 5K Starts
• 8:15am: Untimed 5K Starts
• 9:30am: 5k awards!
• 9:45am: 10k awards!
• 10:00am: Event concludes

Beneficiary

Community Storehouse: Helping kids in Keller ISD and Northwest ISD. Please bring 2-3 non-perishable food items on race day.

Weather Policy

In case of inclement weather, start times may be delayed, courses shortened, or the event cancelled for safety reasons at the discretion of the Race Director.
